1/ Ensure you enter properly!!!
Click the Meet Entry Button below this guideline and make sure you fully complete the registration process and that you get a confirming email. If you do not get a confirming email then it is likely that you have not entered correctly. Email us if unsure.
Our entry fee is €11 but to pay for on line payments a transaction fee of 75 cents also applies
We operate a no refund policy for withdrawals from the meets. This is due to the fact that by the time of withdrawal we will have already expended a considerable amount of time and effort researching each entrants PB/SBs and grading them. Swapping of numbers and running under a different name is not permitted. Those breaching this rule (both parties) will be yellow carded. This is to protect the integrity of the IMC results and our database.
4/ Data Opt Out
If you Opt Out of data then you will not receive important communications from the IMC. You should note that the IMC does not sell your details to any third party.
Please put in an accurate PB. If you are a Master then please put in your age category PB.
6/ Seasons Best
If your SB was at a meet other than an IMC or BMC meet then please give us information on where you got the SB (eg. a link to the result) in the comment box. The SB information is crucial in accurately placing you into an appropriate race.
NOTE The IMC now has a database of over 900 Irish athletes performances in 800, 1500, 3k and 5k distances and we use your PB and SB information to cross check against the information in our database. Where there are differences we will most likely contact you to ensure the integrity of the IMC data.
7/ Comment Box
Use the comment box to give us details of your SB, whether you are going for a qualification time and indeed any information that will help us put you into an appropriate race
8/ Yellow Cards
If you cannot make the meet then you MUST notify us of this prior to the meet. This will allow us to admit any athlete on a waiting list and in other cases to upgrade an athlete.A yellow card means that the IMC has the option not to accept an entry from you at some future meet of our choosing.
9/ Entering Two Events
Due to the very strong standard at IMC meets we STRONGLY discourage middle distance athletes from entering 2 events at the same meet. For SPRINTERS you may enter more than one event. For the second event re enter the system and add an initial to your name as this overrides the the restriction of limiting to one event only.
10/ AGE Limits
For our Meets in the Republic :Athletes MUST reach the age of 16 at any stage during the year of the competition. Should you enter an underage athlete we will not be able to allow that athlete to compete.
For our meets In Northern Ireland: Athletes must reach the age of 15 by 31 October during the year of competition
11/ Suggested Standards and Criteria
Some of our meets have suggested standards and set Criteria. Ensure you comply before entering. If unsure of any aspect or wish to seek a derogation then email firstname.lastname@example.org
